Hey Guys,  I as well just joined and am trying to find some info on how to get involved with my local area group. If anyone could shoot me a PM or reply back with a comment that would be most helpful.

Thanks

Microhams upcoming Technician and General class - Jan 18-20 Posted by: "Rob Salsgiver" rob@quailsoftltd.net robsalsgiver Date: Tue Jan 1, 2013 6:06 pm ((PST)) Greetings all! Just a quick note to let you know that one of the first class offerings of the year will be available through Scott Honaker and the Microhams group. This class will be held the weekend of January 18-20, 2013, and will be geared toward those looking to get their Technician license and/or General upgrade. While this is NOT a Snohomish County Hams Club class, but we ARE trying to coordinate with other local training and testing groups to provide continuous ongoing opportunities while eliminating duplication and overlap of classes. We WILL be having a Snohomish County Hams club class later in 1st quarter - likely in March. If for some reason you can't make it to this one, there will be another just down the road! If you (or someone you know) is interested in getting your Technician and/or General class license, more information is available on the Microhams Tech/General class at http://www.microhams.com/softcontent.aspx?scId=31 . Cheers, Rob Salsgiver - NR3O 2013 President - Snohomish County Hams Club

Merry Christmas to all freedom loving patriots. I just had a total knee replacement on my right leg about 3 weeks ago. I'm healing up pretty good and finally off the pain meds. I'm looking forward to participating in some FTX's in the future.

Anyone leading the parade here in Snohomish County? If so, is there a standard camo, rifle caliber, training program, meeting times ...?  Or are the 42nd AIG and 46th SOC the only highly active units?

I watched a short vid clip on the Florida group, and I was pretty disappointed. From the looks of it, the series has ended. Good.

The loudmouth FL lead needs a good butt stroke to the chops, and the others need to standardize their kit. Come as you are doesn't work in an organized unit.

Another thing...who the eff throws a weapon to their mate? Wow. Stupid.

The mission's intent in FL was understandable. With no reputation to speak of, however, they'll only get shot at by residents who have no idea who these asshats are.

Final point, I'm pretty sure we don't want our mugs all over the boob tube. With Obama fielding NDAA and the FEMA Corps (wonder if he learned to say it right yet?), we don't need to advertise ourselves to God and the nation. Just sayin...
