Comment by nathan charles shanholtzer on Monday Okay kinda out there, first post, forgive me! But supposedly The Tea Party is trying to organize a nationwide protest at local IRS building's nationwide, for targeting conservative organizations and refusing to give them tax exempt statuses. So far on their website there's nothing organized for Clark County. Granted most people just found out about it today and the protest is supposed to be this upcoming tuesday at noon. I was hoping to maybe help get something organized and figured this would be a damn good place to start. I'm in no way a spokesman for the Tea Party but i'm personally a supporter of their movement. Feel free to email me at any time at Nathan.Shanholtzer@gmail.com a link to the website i was informed to go to is here http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/05/breaking-nationwide-tea-par... P.S. I live local in Vancouver and would love the opportunity to participate in any events/training that you guys have to offer. I look forward to hearing back from you all.
Comment by wendy jane breitenstein on April 30, 2013 at 10:32pm Hello all
I hope everyone surviving the daily this that an the other thing.
I have a few moments to post.
So lets start planning the family group camp outs.
My kids get out of school June 12 this year.
We have a nice campground on the upper Lewis river.it called Sunset falls, last year it was $12 a night ,but he used to give disabled a half price .
It was first come first serve an it has pit toilets.
I would not mind going off road, but are car wont make that trip,so there is also Eagle cliff campground, that is if the bank has the store open ,an with the store open their should be flush toilets,Cowletz falls is a great camp ground but it was $16 a night the last we camped ,it could be cheaper with a group per night.
Let us try to consider cost for gas an such ,the food could be shared ,I sure we could find a huge pot to toss stuff in an a few bowls to share.
Let us see if others from around the state are interested as well.
Spread the word ,planning of family camp out this summer ,maybe one a month ,maybe just one for the whole summer.
I sure others may have even better places we could go to have a family camp out.
I also own a copy of Extreme Survival written by Garrett Murry that I could bring along, tho I know we must have others who may be better qualified to teach are wee ones outdoor survival.
All suggestions welcome.

Comment by Joshua Hasbrouck on April 28, 2013 at 11:40am I am a vet and Oath Keeper. I would like to become active in defending our constitution and bill of rights. What would be a first step. I honestly believe that we are on the brink of something very big happening.

Sorry Dan, I didn't see your post yesterday.
We had nine folks who learned all the basics of topo map reading: Identify terrain features, determine UTM grid coordinates on USGS 1:24k maps, orient a map with a compass, and determine magnetic azimuths with a compass using both center-hold and aiming techniques.
