OK, how does a 11 year old holding a gun indicate any form of child abuse or safety issue?. Also  if the guns are locked in a safe they clearly are not were a child can get to them. So why do they need to see them? This is another unsubstantiated attack by a government agency with NO probable cause.

Child services says “In general our role is to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect,” OK fine, Then we need to call then to report every family that is not armed, because clearly they can not protect their children from a home invasion. Thus, the unarmed family is putting children at rick of abuse and should have their children taken away from them to be put in family that love their children enough to protect them against any attack, even to the point of using a gun!

FYI

Veterans do not stand alone. The non-veterans i have talked to feel very strongly about protecting the rights of those that have protected our freedom. An attack on veterans is an attack on all freedom loving Americans. We stand as one nation under God and indivisible.

Congresswoman Admits "Assault Weapons" Ban is "Just the Beginning"

As reported by Breitbart.com this week, anti-gun U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) was interviewed at a rally on February 13, and admitted to the reporter that proposed gun and magazine ban legislation (S. 150, the "Assault Weapons Ban of 2013") is "just the beginning" of a broader gun control agenda that will eventually include handguns.

NBC flat out lies again:

NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris W. Cox Sets the Record Straight on...

On Tuesday, NRA-ILA Executive Director Chris W. Cox released a statement rebutting allegations made in an article that had appeared the same day on NBCNews.com.  The NBC article falsely reported that NRA will not oppose legislation being negotiated in the U.S. Senate that would mandate background checks for all gun purchasers.
